Hans & Greta vs The Witch: The Final Battle
Here is what I am submitting tonight as my final project for Character & Object Design. Not as polished as I wanted it to be, but time was definitely not on my side these past few months. I'm just glad to have something to turn in at all, at this point...

Hans & Greta vs The Witch
As part of my Character & Object Design course work, we are going through the iterations of designing a themed retelling of the story of Hansel and Gretel. Below are the current design mockups of my Viking inspired version as they currently stand. Im hoping that they will look much more professional by the time the course is complete.

Skulls and Vikings and Hamsters, oh my!
Looks like Im about due for another post here. Every two years, it seems. >_>
So anywhere, here is some of my homework from my Character & Object Design class. Im really enjoying working on the brown recycled paper, a lot more than I thought I would.
(Note: the hamster stickers were put there by the teacher to mark images he particularly liked. I guess Im doing a good job! hehe)

Sketch 16 - A Horse of a Different Color (and Species)
Good lord! It's been 625 days since my last post. I guess my "sketch a day" goal has been shot to hell. So, new goal: Sketch when I can.
And what better way to get back on the proverbial horse then to draw a nonproverbial horse. So I present to you.... Aquahorse! Hopefully it wont take me another two years to get my next image up. >_>

Day 15 - "It was a three way! An all Painter three way!"
I had to take a bit of time off from drawing (due to a handful of reasons), so here are a trio of images to help make up for it. The title of this post, however, is a little misleading - only two of the images were made with Corel Painter, and one was done in Sketchbook Pro with some Photoshop tweaking... I just couldn't pass up such a perfect opportunity to quote that specific line. If you know where its from, give yourself a cookie - if not, FOR SHAME!

Day 13 - Force Feedback

A Jedi taking on a Rancor beast by himself - not the brightest thing to do, but makes for an interesting picture

Messing around with the Marker tool in Sketchbook Pro (my drawing program of choice) - I apologize that the image is being posted a day late.

Day 7 - Haduken!

A Blood Elf mage from World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade
If I were to color this image, I would make the fireball look far more impressive then it does now - thats more of a place holder then anything.

Day 5 - Dust and Bones

Mini-Death, with his pet/sidekick, Fraidycat
Edit: Not sure I like the names, would have to reconsider them if I ever decided to further develop this concept
